now THIS is Spring

notice, no snow on the ground,

and not on the trees,

and especially not on the road,

not even on the distant mountains,

just warm sunshine, gorgeous blue skies, bright green grass, an abundance of blossoms, and lots of birds singing

oh, and plenty of pollen too - but I'm not going to think about that right now - I'm just thinking of glorious sunshine bringing everything, especially me, back from the dead - or, uh, back from winter
