Aren't holidays great? We started this weekend a little early with my brother and and his family coming from Arizona. We went to the temple and we went shopping and Megan and I (with no kids) sat at In-N-Out and talked past midnight. On Friday, another of my brothers and his family arrived and we visited on Mom and Dad's lawn as the cousins played and rode bikes and Sarah's jeep. (A great solution to squabbling siblings is to add in some cousins. My kids adore their cousins and are so patient and considerate with them. The extra grown-ups around helps A LOT too.) Dad made us dinner, and then dessert, in the Dutch Oven.

Saturday morning Jessica was baptized by her Grandpa Jim and her cousin Sarah was baptized by her Dad. What a beautiful, heavenly moment for the girls, surrounded by family and friends who love them SO much. Sarah's Uncle Vinnie and Uncle Richard, Aunt Krissy and Brother Smith gave sweet, touching talks about Christ's baptism, the Holy Ghost, and the covenants the girls were making with God. Afterward, as chairs were put away and cookies and brownies were served, we visited and the kids played together in the gym, getting rambunctious wiggles out. Thank you to all who came to share this special day with the girls, and to those who could not be there, we understand and we felt your love, thank you.

Then we went to the school playground for lunch and to finish getting WIGGLES out and I rested (I fell asleep). Later we said goodbye to Richard, Megan, Jack and Kate as they headed off for their LONG drive home. Jon, Venisa, Sarah, Bekah and Sam stayed another night and the kids went to Primary together and made healthy cinnamon rolls with Grandma before they headed home. We had Family Night with Grandpa and Grandma last night and are going to "labor" on the property and on our school work today. Back to school and work tomorrow. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend too.
